There was a birthday gremlin at Michael's party...

So we went to the Inn for Michael's surprise 40th birthday party and we ran into a little birthday gremlin.

There she is lying in wait to jump out at the next passerby.

Really, those were taken Halloween morning which was the morning after the big party but Nick put the hat on her head and she didn't even know it was there.  Here are some pics of her in her little party dress.  She loves her Grammy.

Ok...I've got some different pics to put up.  The first bunch are part of the great Beefaroni battle.  Hey, there is a serving of vegetables in there you know.  Actually, this was a "spoon" lesson.  I didn't help her one bit with this dinner and I think she's figuring it out.  HA!

Random camera dump

Reading after bathtime.  She likes to do it herself now but she'll still crawl up on our laps and let us read to her from time to time.  Or actually, just hold the book while she turns the pages.

Our lovely fall foliage...oh, yes.  That is SNOW!!!  So exciting!!

So it was time to pull out the new winter hat.

Then the wild woman who was all sugared up at daycare today finally simmered down long enough to take a bath and she just loves bathtime.

She's been watching Quinn eat...

And now I think I am going to head to bed because this little girls has been up about 5 times a night for the last 5 nights and I am beat.  Night nights!

Then it was time for our very own personal hay wagon ride to the pumpkin patch!!  Yay!!

Here's the story....of a little girl....who really didn't like the pumpkin patch

and yes, I was singing the theme song to the Brady Bunch as I wrote the title.  Try it.  It's catchy.  Anywho, short version of a long story.  We went to Canada a last weekend to go to the pumpkin patch.  Who would have guessed that in Canada, apple orchards are really ONLY apple orchards and there are no pumpkins in sight?  Not I.  So almost two and a half hours later we arrive at Bankers.  Guess what?   They don't have a pumpkin patch either.  But they did have a pile of pumpkins.  I thought....it's better than nothing.  Well, Ainsley wanted nothing to do with the petting zoo or the pumpkins.  When Michael tried to hand her a little pumpkin you would have thought it was a porcupine.  Anyway, I did get some pictures so I will put some up.  And tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed, that she likes the new real pumpkin patch Uncle Timmy and Becky want to bring her to.

In that picture she looks like all is well.  But the next two show her true feelings of the outing.

Then she finally picked a pumpkin but wouldn't hold it when Michael gave it to her.

Cheese.

And totally on a different subject because I just found these pittiful pictures...the first time Ainsley rode facing forward in her car seat.  For the record...not a fan.

Ok....maybe I should panic because we are starting to move!!!

Our Little Outdoor Fan

We went and visited Uncle Timmy, Becky and Matt on Ainsley's birthday.  Ainsley loves the woods and loves being outdoors, even in the chilly wind.  Here are just a few cute pics from the visit.  Look at Ainsley's hair...I told you it was windy!!
